Clematis 'Warwickshire Rose' - Clematis montana 'Warwickshire Rose' has rugged coppery very dark burgundy leaves and irresistible anemone deep rose blooms with pale cream centres. Sweetly scented and flowering from May thoughout June the deep rose flowers are displayed at their best against this lush plummy foliage. The masses of flowers are followed by beautiful creamy coloured, fluffy seed heads. Pruning is best done after the plant has finished flowering, although little is generally needed and is done to simply tidy the plant. The dark plummy foliage make this clematis attractive, even when not smothered in the thousands of flowers it produces and can be grown in full sun or partial shade. This 'Mile-a Minute' vine is a dense growing climber which will always reward you, year after year!
Clematis 'Marjorie' - Clematis Montana 'Marjorie' gives you the perfect climber for structures like pergolas, trellis, archways, or indeed through other varieties of your favourite trees or shrubs. This is a profuse bloomer in early summer with double salmon-pink flowers and as the plant itself matures the flowers deepen in colour to shades of orange and this hardy Clematis will not disappoint and will reward you year on year. The beautiful flowers of Clematis Montana 'Marjorie' are complimented with hardy bronze-tinted foliage. Clematis Montana 'Marjorie' requires very little pruning except to direct growth.
Clematis 'Elizabeth' - Clematis 'Mile-A-Minute Elizabeth' with its scented delicately coloured pale pink flowers, and pale yelllow stamens, is great for covering sheds, pergolas, walls and for growing up trees for added enjoyment - throughout May, June and July this Clematis just looks sensational. Clematis 'Elizabeth' is fully hardy and will even grow on a north facing wall. The leaves are an attractive dark green shade and dense hence its nick name 'the mile a minute clematis'. No pruning is required for this particular variety unless you wish to restrict the spread. The scent can range from vanilla to hot chocolate.
